It had to happen but we have taken the humble brownie to new heights. If you were a fan of our brownie now imagine 3 times the indulgence. To our classic brownie we have added a layer of butter cream (various flavours available) and them topped it off with a layer of pure Belgian Dark Chocolate. Initially available at markets only, these treats will soon be available at cafe's throughout Sydney.

According to the Daily Telegraph Saturday May 7, 2011 the Macaron will loose its dominance and the Chocolate Brownie will gain ascendancy. Of course our brownies were seen as the better quality chocolate creations.

A smart and comfortable outdoor/indoor coffee bar fronts the store. Inside shelves are stocked with a bevy of tempting products sourced and personally tried by owner, Carolyn McArthur. "We will always do our best to get the finest of locally crafted artisan products," she said. These include eggs straight from the farmer, Cunliffe & Waters jams, chutneys and sauces, Peter Watson marinades and Pasta Gallery raviolis to name but a few. Genovese coffee is served along with Teadrop tea. Bread is baked daily on the premises.

Among the delicious breakfast offerings are fresh baked muffins, savoury croissants or a slice of apple and pecan loaf. Lunch is eat-in or take away. Panini rolls and baguettes are filled with a great variety of fresh and tasty fillings or choose a freshly roasted frittata with salad greens.

Busy gourmets can take their pick from a range of delicious take home curries, pastas, pizzas, cold cuts, olives, marinated vegetables and sensational cheeses. Throw in a jar of pickles or chutney and you have a feast. Sweet tooths are well catered for too especially with Fare Gourmet's range of Brownies, Carrot cakes and Orange Syrup cakes!

The newest deli in Sydney, Delmain Providore, 306 Darling Street, Balmain. Not your average Deli, Delmain Providore is offering old fashioned country service in the hustle and bustle inner city. Delmain is run and operated by Matt Adamson.

Matt originally from Taree, New South Wales is a former Australian professional rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australian international representative second-row forward, he played club football in Australia with the Parramatta Eels, Penrith Panthers, and Canberra Raiders, and in England with the Leeds Rhinos. Adamson started his career as a Fullback or Winger, and was moved to the forward pack by Penrith coach Royce Simmons, in 1996.

Adamson was an assistant coach to Matthew Elliott at Penrith Panthers during 2007 and 2008.

Matt brings a passion for food to Delmain Providore, this fervent passion is akin to his passion on the Rugby League field.

But more than just bringing quality food Matt is bringing old fashioned country service including free door to door delivery to the residents of the Balmain penninsula.

After 2 years of selling our brownies and cakes at Markets and Fairs all over Sydney and beyond we have embarked on getting our Brownies and cakes in the top Deli's and Cafe's. From Leura Gourmet Deli in the Blue Mountans to the Northern beaches new stockists are siging up.

We hope to cover all of Sydney and beyond soon so you don't have to wait or travel far to indulage in the most unbelievably delicious Brownies and cakes.

Fare Gourmet is constantly growing it's range of products. Over the last 12 months our range of Browinies has increased to over 14 flavours, including the recently released Double Choc, Pecan and Cheese Cake Brownies.

The great news is our Deluxe Fruit Cakes will now be available all year round not just Christmas. And soon we will be adding more products to our bakery range including Carrot cakes and slices.

Black Forest Brownie
After only 2 weeks of testing the Black Forest Brownie was launched today at Eveleigh Markets, Wilson St, Darlington.
Smooth Dark Belgian Chocolate,  Morello Cherries with the added sensation of Cherry Brandy and Kirsch.

Triple Chocolate and Orange
Take your classic dark Belgian chocolate brownie, add some milk and white Belgian chocolate and  a few spoonfuls of orange Grand Marnier liqueur.  Sensational.

Fare Gourmet believes in giving our customers new taste sensensations on a regular basis.  Over the last few weeks we have released three new brownies. These have proven to be extremely popular and include Coffee and Belgian Chocolate Brownie, Ginger and Belgian Chocolate, and our latest which has proven to be a real hit is Grand Marnier and Belgian Chocolate.

Carmen, the owner of Fare Gourmet says that our goal is to release at least three more taste sensations this year but unless they meet the crucial unbelieveably delicious test they won't be released.

After many months of product development we launched on schedule at the Castle Hill Craft Market.

The Market was a success and our product tastings proved our tag line, Unbelievably Delicious, was correct with customers raving about our products and buying up big.
